Abraham Lincoln Gravesite

The Abraham Lincoln gravesite in Oak Hill Cemetery in Springfield, Illinois. President Lincoln was assassinated in April 1865 at the Ford’s Theater in Washington D.C. His body was transported by train from Washington DC across the eastern United States as it traveled to Lincoln’s final burial place in Springfield, Illinois.
