This photo was taken at the Morton Arboretum in Lisle, IL during October 2011, right in the middle of the peak fall colors in Illinois. I took several shots of this tree, including some that look up into the interior of the tree. The Morton Arboretum is a giant park located in the west suburbs of Chicago, about 25 minutes from downtown.
